Time for nonsense

It has been eight years since INESC Porto took me in and I have always managed to avoid writing an article for BIP...but now it’s my turn to write some nonsense and I promise I won’t be too long.

As I already mentioned, it has been eight years since I joined this big family, and I have learnt much throughout this journey of mine! I feel my learning has been reflecting in everything that is part of my life…at both personal and professional levels. When I first got here, I was enthusiastic about this job, but I didn’t have much experience and I had a lot to learn. I have to thank those people who were patient and willing to teach me during that period.

As a person, I grew in responsibility and maturity…

I am lucky to be working in INESC Porto; being surrounded by intelligent, friendly and understanding people gives me the morale I need to get up every day and face it with more enthusiasm.

The good environment lived here is the “cure” for the days in which things aren’t all that wonderful…

Speaking of good environment and joy...it would be good if we had more meetings like the one in which we celebrated 20 years of INESC Porto…this meeting was very special because we enjoyed a full day with family and friends who work with us.

And now that I’m on it, how about organizing a get-together in which the little ones can participate too? I’ll remind you that in these last years, the collaborators of INESC Porto have contributed a great deal to the birth rate…and I too am guilty;)
