UTM hosts WWI Ambient Networks project meeting

On the 27th and 28th of March, INESC Porto hosted one more internal meeting of Work Package E (WPE) in the context of the IST WWI Ambient Networks project (second phase), an integrated project of the Sixth Support Framework Programme.

This meeting was organized by the Telecommunication and Multimedia Unit and welcomed around fifteen participants from accredited European companies and research centres such as BT (British Telecom), DoCoMo, Nokia, Telefónica, Ericsson, the Swedish Institute of Computer Science and, of course, INESC Porto.
This was the second meeting INESC Porto organized for this project; the first one was held in November 2005 still in the scope of the first phase of the project.

Essentially, this 2-day meeting contributed to the discussion of the work plan for what is left of the second phase of the project ending this December as well as to the presentation of part of the work already carried out by the partners.
