SIG makes it easier to assess performance

The Management Information Service (SIG) has recently offered the process of Performance Assessment in the Ultimus Workflow tool. The analysis of the process was supervised by Mário Jorge Leitão.

First, the people assessed fill out an electronic form and the process then goes to the respective assessor who will fill the assessment electronic form and justify his decision to the person assessed. These data will be kept in a support database.

In the mean while, it is possible to check the whole process on the Intranet, including the state of the assessments, the data inserted by the person assessed as well as the assessment made by the assessor. In previous years, it will also be possible to check the whole history of individual evaluations.

When this phase is concluded, there will already be tools that enable the solidification of all this information in a map which will be used by DIP (INESC Porto’s board) in order to make the analysis easier.
