USE conducts a study for RAVE

The Power Systems Unit (USE) will conduct a study for RAVE - Rede Ferroviária de Alta Velocidade S.A.

The objective of this study is to identify and analyse solutions of power supply in Extra High Voltage in the network of high-speed trains between Lisboa – Porto –Vigo and Lisboa – Madrid.

These studies will involve the study of alternative solutions of power supply to RAVE’s substations, requiring the computational simulation of the whole national transport network.
