On 6 November, INESC Porto welcomed the “Vivamente” Committee set up by 15 Communication students attending the University of Twente (Netherlands).

Lídia Vilas Boas conducted a tour through INESC Porto’s facilities, summarily explaining the activities carried out by each Unit.

After that, the students were shown an institutional video and attended a presentation by Vladimiro Miranda, INESC Porto's director, about the activities carried out by INESC Porto’s Communication Service.

Also, Joana Ferreira, representative of communication agency "Mediana", did a presentation about the services that the agency renders to INESC Porto.

The visit ended with cheerful socialization between the students and INESC Porto's Collaborators at the Institution's cafeteria.

This Committee was set up by the students whose aim was to carry out study visits to several Portuguese companies and to know more about the activities developed in the area of external communication.

The students chose Portugal because of its potential for economic growth, which is becoming more and more closer to the European reality. This is why external communication in Portuguese companies is crucial for their economic growth.

In Porto, the students chose to visit INESC Porto and Exponor. Afterwards, the students visited Coimbra, Lisboa and Algarve.
