USE participates in new European project Anemos.Plus

After several administrative delays, work on the European project Anemos.Plus will finally begin. The project is led by the École de Mines in Paris and INESC Porto will participate through the Power Systems Unit (USE).

The project is generally called "Advanced Tools for the Management of Electricity Grids with Large-Scale Wind Generation" and its aim is to integrate wind forecasting and its uncertainty into network management and decision-support tools.

USE will carry out task WP 3 called "New Intelligent Management Tools for Large-Scale Wind Integration". The tasks will be jointly coordinated by Peças Lopes and Manuel Matos.
