CRACS signs contract with GEDI, S.A.
A group of researchers from CRACS - INESC Porto LA (Center for Research in Advanced Computing Systems) signed a contract with GEDI, S.A.
The contract’s aim is to provide Scientific Technical Assistance so that GEDI is able to develop computer security infrastructures for its ID and Mobility engines, as well as its integration to other applications and services.
GEDI, S.A. (http://www.gedi.pt) is a company that was founded in 1984 and its main activities are the design, development and implementation of computer solutions, namely in different areas of Public Administration.
The Scientific Technical Assistance stands on three important areas: WebServices (security requirements for WebServices, security standards for WebServices, XML signatures and encryption, XKMS-XML Key Management Systems and OASIS WS-Security).
Other area is Identity Management (Federated identities, SAML architectures, SAML in J2EE Applications, Liberty Alliance and Shibolleth as well as access control with XACML and its connection to SAM).
During the last area of intervention, it will be possible to carry out any other activities related to security systems and data which may be requirements for the systems that are going to be implemented.
