The Inter Power team (USE) was the winner of INESC Porto’s Sixth Football Tournament. They also won the medal for best scorer and best player.

This year, as last year, besides the award of the trophy and the medal for the best scorer, the football teams have elected the Fair Play Team, the Best Scorer and the Best Goal Keeper.

After a tough voting process, the results were:

FAIR PLAY TEAM: UOSE.
BEST PLAYER: Nuno Fidalgo of Inter Power (USE).
BEST GOAL KEEPER: Ruben Moreira of Krackes.

On July 4, at 6.30, the Inter Power beat the Krackes by 5-2, before a small yet enthusiastic audience.

In the end of the match, the trophy was given to the winning team. The medal for best scorer was given to António Ferreira and to Franklin because they both scored 17 goals in the Tournament.

Next, the winning team took a real champagne shower and USE’s celebrations ended with excitement and a huge smile.

We’d like to remind you that, in the first edition, in 2001, the winning team was Power All Stars. In 2002, UTM’s team won. In 2003, the UESP team got the Cup. In 2004, UOSE did. In 2005, it was Krackes' turn. When everyone was expecting USIC’s team to win now, it was the Inter Power who took the cup home of INESC Porto’s Football Tournament.
