Lab Meetings in the
Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit...
Lab Meeting started with the objective of energizing the
Multimedia Group of the Telecommunications and Multimedia
Unit and contributing to the exchange of knowledge among the
collaborators involved. One of the main goals of these
meetings is to allow ideas and strategies to align, mostly
when it comes to PhDs and masters’ theses, with projects
both to run and already running, towards the maximization of
each one’s contribution.
The contents of these meetings are expected to be
diverse, but always interesting to the group. These meetings
will comprehend presentations of articles, demonstrations on
articles that have been read, projects’ demonstrations,
demonstrations on technologies or work methods, discussion
on technical problems, among others.
Since not every subject matters to everyone and
considering the specific nature of some of them, the
collaborators envisaged will be able to vary according to
the theme.
By default, the meetings will be held on Thursdays from
11 a.m. to 12 a.m. However, the day or the hour can change
in order to fulfill specific requirements such as the
availability of the spokesperson, for instance.
