It is possible to access the INESC Porto’s network
internal systems and services from the outside. For such,
there is VPN service (Virtual Private Network). The
configuration and use of this service is simple, all you
have to do is contact VPN’s server using your e-mail
password.
The VPN’s server’s address is vpn.inescn.pt, but you can
also access it through vpn.inescporto.pt or bpn.inescn.pt…
(by the way, a very appropriate name…).
It is important to highlight that now, this service is also
available exceptionally from FEUP’s and FCUP’s internal
network, thanks to the collaboration of the members in
charge of the respective Computer Centres.
